60-Day Dubai Visa 2026: Requirements, Fees & Processing Time

Quick answer: A 60-day Dubai tourist visa lets you stay in the UAE for up to 60 days from the date you enter. It's designed for longer family visits, extended holidays and trips that cover several emirates. You apply online with a passport copy and a photo, processing usually takes 2–4 working days, and it's issued as an e-visa. It's a separate visa, not a 30-day visa that has been extended.

Who Is the 60-Day Visa For?

  • Parents and relatives visiting family who live in the UAE, often for a new baby, a wedding or the school holidays

  • Winter visitors spending the cooler months (November to March) in Dubai

  • Multi-emirate trips covering Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah at a slower pace

  • People exploring a future move who are looking at neighbourhoods and schools. If you later get a job or a residence visa, that's a separate application.

60-Day Visa vs Extending a 30-Day Visa

If you already know your trip will be longer than 30 days, a 60-day visa is usually the better option:

Documents Required

  1. Passport copy: a colour scan of the bio page, valid for at least 6 months from your arrival date. With a 60-day stay, make sure the passport doesn't expire during or soon after the trip.

  2. Photograph: recent, in colour, with a white background. See the photo specifications.

Depending on your nationality, you may also be asked for a return ticket, accommodation details or your residence permit. If you're staying with family, have their UAE address ready.

How to Apply for a 60-Day Dubai Visa

  1. Open the Dubai visa page and select United Arab Emirates.

  2. Enter your nationality and your country of residence.

  3. Choose 60 Days – Single Entry or 60 Days – Multiple Entry.

  4. Fill in each traveller's details as they appear on their passport. Each traveller needs a separate application.

  5. Upload the passport copy and photo, then pay online.

  6. Follow your application on the Track Visa page. Your e-visa will arrive by email.

Planning a 60-Day Stay: Practical Tips

  • Count your days. Day 1 is the day you arrive. Book your return flight for day 60 or earlier.

  • Choose multiple entry if you plan a side trip to Oman, the Maldives or home during the 60 days.

  • Get travel health insurance. Medical care in the UAE is expensive for visitors.

  • For long hotel stays, ask about weekly or monthly rates, or look at serviced apartments on our hotel search.

  • Need more time? Ask for an extension at least 5 working days before the visa expires. Read our visa extension guide.

What You Can't Do on a 60-Day Tourist Visa

A tourist visa doesn't allow you to work, take paid freelance jobs, or register as a resident. Job interviews and networking are fine, but if you're offered a job, your employer has to apply for an employment visa. Read why a Dubai tourist visa is not a work visa.
